We were contacted by a local building company, Ceecom Limited, who specialise in the construction of high quality bespoke residential properties requesting a quote for one of their projects in Graffham, West Sussex for a Ground Source Heat Pump System. We had worked with them on several projects over the last few years where we had installed ground source heat pumps with boreholes and underfloor heating.
We installed 10 no. GSHP boreholes to a depth of approx. 100 m using a special drilling fluid which enabled us to drill in the unstable sands below the site without the requirement of running lots of additional steel casing which would have been both time consuming and costly. This was for two systems – 1x 40kw for the main house and 1 x 11kw for the annexe which was a stand-alone building. The main building also had solar thermal panels supplied and installed by Nicholls integrated into the GSHP system. We also supplied and installed the underfloor heating system in both buildings.
Both systems were MCS accredited installations.
“We have used Nicholls Boreholes on a number of projects and they have always worked well with us and other contractors on site. We have found them to be both experienced and helpful. We would hope to give them many more projects in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending them.” Andy Auge-de-Rancourt, Managing Director of Ceecom Construction Limited.
