We have completed several projects for this client, the first in 2007 when we installed a 90m water borehole and storage tanks for irrigation and washing down the stable yard area. In 2008 we installed a ground source heat pump with boreholes for their staff accommodation which was very successful. We then were asked to install a ground source heat pump in the main house to incorporate the indoor pool. The system was installed with their ground source heat pump being located in an external plant room and pre-insulated pipe was run to the main house so that no space was taken up in the main building by the heat pump.
‘Nicholls Boreholes have installed two separate ground source heat pumps for us at our at our listed property in Sussex – the first for the staff accommodation in 2008 and the second for the main house including the indoor swimming pool in 2010. In addition to this they also installed a water borehole and irrigation system. We have always been happy with the initial and follow up service received from the Nicholls team. The ground source investment is substantial and really worth doing properly and we have found the systems have reduced our energy bills significantly. We would recommend Nicholls to other ground source heat pump and water borehole customers.’
