As Nicholls Boreholes is MCS accredited for Ground Source Heat Pumps, their customers are eligible to claim for the Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and OFGEM have confirmed the latest rates for the domestic and non-domestic RHI which will apply to applications submitted from 1st April 2016.

The new rates for the Domestic RHI are as follows:-

Ground Source Heat Pumps – 19.33p/kWh (up from 19.10/kWh)

The new rates for the Non-Domestic RHI are as follows:-

Since the launch of RHI in April 2014, many of our clients have successfully applied and receive quarterly payments (paid over 7 years for Domestic and 20 years for Non-Domestic) and are now well on their way to recouping a large percentage of their Ground Source Heat Pump installation cost and some will recoup all of their capital outlay.
