Nicholls Boreholes were contacted by Roger Davey of Irritech Limited who specialise in irrigation system evaluation, design and project management throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Irritech were working with St. George’s Hill Golf Club installing a new irrigation system including a large storage reservoir and borehole system.
We have worked with Irritech Limited on many projects in the past and were able to install a new abstraction borehole on a premier golf course which remained open throughout the project. We have also installed numerous boreholes for private residences locally to the site.
The borehole was sunk into the Bagshot formation underneath the site and although the client requires 20 m3 per day, our test pumping showed the ability to deliver much more.
The borehole was sunk to 30m below ground level. The Client also benefits from an on-going service contract with Nicholls.
“We put forward Nicholls Boreholes as a preferred installer for one of our clients at St George’s Hill Golf Course. We were expecting a fairly low yield with a view to install further boreholes to support storage lake.
We were very pleased with the high standard of service and installation and our client was very pleased that the borehole was much more productive than expected.
I would be pleased to recommend Nicholls Boreholes to others wishing to install a borehole system.”
