Objective
Nicholls were recommended to the client by a previous customer to supply a Ground Source Heat Pump system for their exquisite new build property in the New Forest. The client’s intention was to have a sustainable building for the future and also wanted to use a company that handled all aspects of the Ground Source Heat Pump installation.
About the project
Having worked with the house builder previously, Nicholls undertook the design, supply and installation of the Ground Source Heat Pump system. All of the work was undertaken during the construction of the building with the boreholes being drilled in the driveway. We had previously drilled relatively close to the site location and used our experience to drill the boreholes using a mud flush system. The Ground Source Heat Pump was delivered earlier than usual into the basement for ease. As Nicholls used separate engineers for the drilling, headering and ground source heat pump installation it was straightforward for the Nicholls team to work within the programme of the builder.
The client now benefits from a 7 year warranty along with an annual service agreement through Nicholls Licensing and Consulting.
“Our main contractor engaged with Nicholls to undertake the work on installing a system for our new build eco property. The installation of the system was very smooth.
For our complete peace of mind, Nicholls Servicing and Maintenance continue to look after our system.”
