The Drilling Assistant role is key to our business.
You need to be a motivated and proactive individual with good organisational and communication skills who can multitask in a fast team-based environment.
You will assist in the movement, setup, and operation of drilling rigs and associated equipment for water and heat extraction.
A Driller Assistant’s obligations include assisting in the operation of the drilling rig, changing drill bits and instruments, assisting in regular servicing and lubrication of rig devices, driving support vehicles, being attentive to instruction, and being able to regularly lift heavy loads.

Nicholls Boreholes has been providing commercial and domestic customers with all aspects of geothermal energy, including water borehole drilling and boreholes for geothermal heat pumps.
We are looking to recruit Land Drilling Assistants to join our busy drilling team.
Ground work experience useful but not essential.
A competitive salary is offered and an immediate start is available for this full-time, permanent position.
