Waterwell Engineer
Experienced waterwell engineer to join our drilling team, working on borehole installations across the South East.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Waterwell Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of water supply boreholes for domestic, agricultural, and commercial clients across the South East of England.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Leading borehole drilling operations on site
- Installing borehole pumps, headworks, and ancillary equipment
- Conducting test pumping and water sampling
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and the Environment Agency
- Maintaining drilling rigs and equipment
- Completing site documentation and health & safety records
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in waterwell drilling or borehole engineering
- CSCS card holder
- Full clean UK driving licence (C+E preferred)
- Knowledge of UK hydrogeology and EA regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good communication skills
