Objective

To supply a renewable energy heating system so that the property no longer relied on gas.  Our client also  saw the benefits of installing a water borehole system supplying potable water with no chemical additives.

About the project

Having worked with the main contractor on previous projects Nicholls were asked to undertake the supply and installation of both the heating and water system.  The mid terrace town house was undertaking a full refurbishment with very limited outdoor space.   Nicholls installed 6 boreholes at 125m inside the building during the refurbishment.  These boreholes were subsequently connected to the ground source heat pump system installed in the basement.

Having undertaken similar projects in central London Nicholls’ experience paid off.

“Nicholls were involved in the project from an early stage and offered some sensible solutions to overcome the installation of a heat pump system in a difficult environment. Thank you to the Nicholls team.”
